Songoftheday 10/25/18 - They really got it going on looking all nice and sweet, showing leg and a little butt cheek...

"Dazzey Duks" - Duice
from the album Dazzey Duks (1993)
Billboard Hot 100 peak: #12 (two weeks)
Weeks in the Top-40: 26

Today's song of the day comes from the "bass" style rap act Duice, who came together when stationed in Georgia in the early 1990s. "L.A. Snow" and "Creo-D" released their breakthrough single "Dazzey Duks" in 1993. Written by the pair inspired by the short short worn by Catherine Bach in the TV show The Dukes Of Hazzard, the frenetic dance track was totally unserious and totally throwaway, but people ate it up...

"Dazzey Duks" reached the top 20 on the American pop chart in July of 1993, eventually spending ten months on Billboard magazine's Hot 100. The single also climbed to #19 on their R&B chart. However, even with this massive success the duo never reached the pop or R&B charts again.
