Song you should hear 10/13/18 - "Don't Lie To Me" from Barbra Streisand...

"Don't Lie To Me" is the new single from music legend Barbra Streisand. It serves as the lead single from her upcoming album Walls, which will arrive in November. For the first time since I can remember, Barbra delves into topical issues taking direct aim at the Trump Administration and its abuses. She's in fine voice, and the music video accompanying it sends a powerful message; the only quibble I have is with the line "don't you see I'm cryin'". Trump is a sociopath, if anything crying from his supposed enemies is what gives him pleasure. Otherwise, much kudos for her not staying "safe". Her most recent top-40 hit on the Adult Contemporary chart has been "Stranger In A Strange Land" from 2005's Guilty Pleasures; to get her last top-40 pop hit you'd have to go back to 1996 and her top ten hit duet with Bryan Adams, "I Finally Found Someone"...
