You can check out the first two parts by clicking here ... #80 - "Into The Blue" - Kylie Minogue           from the album Kiss Me Once (2014)           twostepcubchart peak: #3 (two weeks)           weeks on the chart: 12 After parting ways with career-long manager Terry Blamey, switching to Americentric Roc Nation, she again seemed to try to capture the Western audience with her 12th album Kiss Me Once , which harkened back to her "see what sticks" effort X but with a bit more vivaciousness and overt sexuality (three songs had sex in the title), but still included a club anthem in this single that should've at least hit the top-40 if not for American pop radio's ageism, and young gay men's infatuation with slutty younger girls. It's time for round two of my year-end recap of the biggest hits on my weekend personal chart this year. You can catch up on part one by clicking here ... #90 - "We Are Tonight" - Billy Currington          from the album We Are Tonight (2013)          Highest Peak: #20 (one week)          Weeks on the chart: 18 Currington had a wild 2013; as his "Hey Girl" ended up Billboard 's Country Single of the Year (it ended up #81 on my year-end chart), he pleaded no contest to charges stemming from an altercation with a boat captain who was stalking his property with tourists. I cannot believe it's already time to start this year's rundown of the top 100 tunes of the year from my weekly blog . Where on earth did 2014 go? Well I tallied up all the numbers by rank each week and these are the songs that went the highest and/or stuck around the longest. And each weekday until New Years Eve (except Christmas) I'll bring out ten more until we get to the top. And away we go.... #100 - "I Got U" - Duke Dumont featuring Jax Jones           from the album EP1           Highest Rank: 17 (two weeks)           Weeks on the chart: 16 2014 was the year neo-house broke through in a big way, and I couldn't be more happier, as my garage-music days of the 90s finally made the tetro train.
