Hey folks, another week gone by and time for my top-100 tunes for the week. This week Cee-Lo Green fucking finally takes over the top spot, while Mumford & Sons (pictured above) finally get a top-10 hit. There's a lot of action in the chart, with twenty-one songs moving 10+ places (and marked in red ), as tracks by LMFAO, Sultan & Ned Shepard, and Cee-Lo (again) making the biggest jumps. Also former big hits by Train, Kylie Minogue, and Yoko Ono drop out. Hey folks, it's Tax Day in the US, though I've already had my refund back for 2 months now, so it's time for my top-100 tunes for the week. This week The Zac Brown Band put the first country song at my top spot in a long long while, as Cee-Lo Green (pictured above) also finally makes it into the top-3. The biggest jumps come from songs by Alexis Jordan, Jennifer Hudson, and Katy Perry (moves of 10+ places highlighted in red ), while a former big hit by Bruno Mars that was in my top-10 for the year so far drops out. It's unbelievable that a quarter of the year has gone by, but alas, it's just turning April, and spring is almost peeking its head out. And here's the 40 biggest songs on my weekly chart from the beginning of the year until now... 1. Firework - Katy Perry (from the CD Teenage Dream ) 2scchart Peak: #1 (3 weeks) Perry made a hat trick of #1s with this self-empowerment anthem, which also was a US charttopper for four weeks. The video is just as epic, featuring belittled people in many forms, from the disabled to an overweight girl to a gay kid, and without the usual heavyhandedness. 2. Grenade - Bruno Mars (from the CD Doo Wops & Hooligans ) 2scchart Peak: #1 (5 weeks) Mars was catching up fast with "Firework", but for the quarter came up just a few points short.
