"Dance With Me" was the biggest pop success for singer/songwriter/producer Peter Brown, who came from a musical family in the suburbs of Chicago. The funky track, which featured singer Better Wright, who had success of her own with the top-ten pop hit "Clean Up Woman" in 1971. The song, which climbed to #8 on the pop chart and #5 on the R&B list, peaked up at #4 on Billboard's Disco/Dance Tracks chart in 1978. Appearing on Brown's debut album A Fantasy Love Affair, it remains one of my all-time favorite disco songs...
