Disco Dessert 10/7/18 - "Could I Be Dreaming" from the Pointer Sisters...

"Could I Be Dreaming" comes from the Pointer Sisters' 1980 album Special Things, which contained their big pop hit "He's So Shy". On Billboard's Dance/Disco Tracks chart, the album charted as one, with "He's So Shy", "Could I Be Dreaming", and "We've Got The Power" singled out as key club tracks, and went to #26, spending 20 weeks on the chart. Anita Pointer co-wrote the song with Marlo Henderson, who played on Michael Jackson's Off The Wall album. On its own "Could I Be Dreaming" went to #22 on the R&B chart and #52 on the pop Hot 100.
