Indie-country/rock artist Brandi Carlile has re-recorded a track from her stellar album By The Way, I Forgive You as a duet. Joining Brandi on this one-off single is British blue-eyed soulster Sam Smith, for the original album closer "Party Of One". Proceeds from the sale of the single will go to Children In Conflict, the American version of the British charity War Child. By The Way went to #5 on Billboard magazine's albums Top 200, while single "The Joke" peaked at #8 on the Album Adult Alternative radio format chart.
