Disco Dessert 10/16/18 - "Move On Up/Up, Up, Up" from Destination...

"Move On Up/Up, Up, Up" was the biggest club hit for the New York-based disco act Destination. The first part of the track is a remake of a song from soul icon Curtis Mayfield which came on his first album after leaving the Impressions, Curtis. The single popped on to the R&B chart in Billboard magazine at #68 as well, and was on their first and only album From Beginning To End. On Billboard's Disco/Dance Tracks chart, the song, paired with "Destination's Theme" from the album, spent four weeks at #2 in 1979...
