Robbed hit of the week 4/13/20 - Xscape's "Do You Want To" / "Can't Hang"...
"Do You Want To"/"Can't Hang" - Xscape
from the album Off The Hook (1995)

"Do You Want To", written by members Tiny Cottle and Tamika Scott, with the former singing lead vocals, was a downtempo ballad imploring a lover to stay the night...
Meanwhile, "Can't Hang", written by the other two bandmates, Kandi Burruss and LaTocha Scott with the former singing lead and featuring a rap interlude from MC Lyte, was a midtempo G-funk-style jam that dares her lover to "get down" based on his rep...
Urban and mainstream stations would play both tracks, but despite the added points, the single stalled at the halfway mark on Billboard's pop Hot 100 chart in March of 1996. Both songs switched off as lead track listed on the charts, with "Can't Hang" peaking at #56 in May. On Billboard's R&B chart, "Do You Want To" was the third top ten hit from Off The Hook at #9, while "Can't Hang" was listed first as high at #16.
