Disco Dessert 4/4/20 - "Take That To The Bank" from Shalamar...

"Take That To The Bank" was a radio hit for soul/disco act Shalamar. Appearing on their sophomore album Disco Gardens, the song was produced by Leon Sylvers III of the group the Sylvers, who wrote it with Kevin Spencer. Although the song rose to #11 on Billboard magazine's R&B chart, it didn't place at on their National Disco Action Top-40 list. However, it definite was a DJ and clubgoers favorite and remains a classic of the "SOLAR Records" sound.
