Disco Dessert 4/11/20 - "Dance Little Dreamer" from Bionic Boogie...

"Dance Little Dreamer" was a big club hit for disco producer Gregg Diamond, recording under the moniker Bionic Boogie. Appearing on his album Bionic Boogie, the song was written and produced by Diamond, who was previously a backing musician for the glam-rock legend Jobraith. Diamond's brother Godfrey also worked on David Bowie's Young Americans album. On Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40 chart the Bionic Boogie album charted as one entry, with "Dance Little Dreamer" and "Risky Changes" listed as key cuts. It spent three weeks at #1 in 1978.
