"Hold On To My Love" was a radio hit for the late soul singer Jimmy Ruffin, the brother of the late former Temptations member David. Appearing on his 1980 album Sunrise, the song was written and produced by the Bee Gees' Robin Gibb and studio musician Blue Weaver. Although the song never made Billboard magazine's Disco chart, it reached the top ten in both the US (#10) and the UK (#7).
