Disco Dessert 4/14/20 - "Big Blow" from Manu DiBango....

"Big Blow" was an underground club classic for Cameroonian-born sax player Manu DiBango. Appearing on his album Afrovision in 1978, the song was written by DiBango. Even though the song never made any of Billboard magazine's dance or pop charts, it was a favorite of DJs and clubgoers here and in Britain. Sadly, DiBango was one of the victims of the COVID-19 pandemic, passing away in March in Paris.
