"Love Is The Ultimate" was a big club hit for the studio group Ultimate. Written by Juliano Salerni, who produced the track with Bruce Weeden, the song featured vocals from Barbara Hernandez, Deborah McGriff, and Rita Saunders. It appeared on their debut album Ultimate, which charted on Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40 as a single entry, where it climbed to #6 in 1979. The album also included their club classic "Touch Me Baby" as well.
