Disco Dessert 4/27/20 - "Cavern" from Liquid Liquid...

"Cavern" was a club hit for New York funk group Liquid Liquid. Appearing on their EP Optimo, the song was written by the group but is best known for the bass line which was sampled in Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five's rap classic "White Lines". On Billboard magazine's Dance/Disco Top-80 chart, "Cavern" peaked at #50 in 1983.
