Disco Dessert 4/1/20 - "Mandolay" from La Flavour...

"Mandolay" was a club hit for the Ohio funk-rock band La Flavour. Written and produced by Mark Avsec, who also penned Donnie Iris' classic "Ah! Leah!" and Bon Jovi's "She Don't Know Me", the song appeared on the group's first and only studio album Mandolay. On Billboard magazine's Disco Top-100 chart, "Mandolay" rose to #7 in 1980, spending six months on the chart.
