"Helplessly" was a club hit for the New York soul group The Moment Of Truth. Appearing on their 1977 album The Moment Of Truth, the song was written and produced by Reid Whitelaw and Norman Bergen. On Billboard magazine's Disco Action chart, the single climbed to #3 in 1975.
