Today's song of the day comes from the female R&B vocal duo Changing Faces. Cassandra Lucas and Charisse Rose started out as back-up singers but when paired up were discovered by producer/singer/songwriter R. Kelly, who helped write and produce three of the tracks from their self-titled debut album, including the first single "Stroke You Up". The sultry slow jam had the women coo their way into your heart, but first into your pants...
"Stroke You Up" became Changing Faces biggest pop hit and first top ten single in America in September of 1994. The song also spent a month (four weeks) at #2 on the R&B chart in Billboard magazine. Internationally, the song hit #15 in New Zealand while just missing the top-40 in the UK at #43.
