"Love Epidemic" was a proto-disco club hit for the R&B vocal group the Trammps. Appearing on their self-titled album on the Golden Fleece label in 1975, the track actually was released as a single in 1973, way before the Disco Chart came about, but it managed to climb to #75 on the R&B chart in Billboard magazine. The production behind the record was done by the band MFSB, who released the #1 Philly Soul classic "T.S.O.P. (The Sound of Philadelphia)" better known as the theme to Soul Train...
