Disco Dessert 6/25/19 - "Street Player" from Chicago...

"Street Player" was a club favorite from the jazz-rock band Chicago. Appearing on their album Chicago 13, the nine-minute-plus opening song was written by drummer Danny Seraphine alone with Henry "Hawk" Wolinski of the R&B group Rufus. Although it never reached either the disco or the pop charts, the song popped into the R&B chart in 1979 at #91.
