"Groove Me" was a club hit for soul and dance music singer Fern Kinney. It was a remake of a single from King Floyd that topped the R&B chart for four weeks and peaked at #6 on the pop Hot 100 in 1970 that Kinney sang backup vocals for. Appearing on her album Groove Me, the song climbed to #6 in Billboard magazine's Disco Top 80 chart in 1979. The single also hit #26 on the R&B chart and #54 on the pop Hot 100 in America...
