Disco Dessert 6/28/19 - "Weekend" by Class Action/Phreek

"Weekend" was an underground club hit for the band Phreek. It wasn't available commercially when it was first released in 1978 as Patrick Adams featuring Phreek, and therefore originally didn't chart. But a remake in 1983 featuring the same singer, Christine Wiltshire, credited to Class Action climbed to #9 on Billboard magazine's Dance/Disco Top 80 chart.
