"(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty" was a club and pop hit for the kings of Miami disco KC & The Sunshine Band. The song appeared on the group's Part 3 album, which charted as a whole on Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top 30, where it climbed to #9 in 1976. It also topped both the pop and R&B charts in Billboard, as well as in Canada. "Shake Your Booty" was written by the band's leader and lead singer Henry Wayne Casey ("KC") along with band bass player and producer Richard Finch.
