Disco Dessert 6/6/19 - "Miss You" from the Rolling Stones...
"Miss You" was a big club and radio hit for the veteran British blues-rock band the Rolling Stones. Appearing on their album Some Girls, the song was written by Mick Jagger along with Billy Preston (though credited to Mick's partner Keith Richards as was the norm), and was their first song to be commercially reworked into an extended mix for the disco clubs, by Bob Clearmountain, who would go on to work with a Canadian disco act that turned into a rock superstar, Bryan Adams. "Miss You" would climb to #6 on the National Disco Action Top-40 in Billboard magazine. It would top their pop Hot 100, and peak at #33 on the R&B chart as well...
