"I Don't Know If It's Right" was a club hit for soul singer Evelyn "Champagne" King. Appearing on her debut album Smooth Talk, the song was written by producer Theodore Life along with John H. Fitch Jr.. The single climbed to #25 on the National Disco Action Top-40 chart in Billboard magazine in 1979, while peaking at #7 on their R&B chart and #23 on the pop Hot 100 in America.
