twostepcub's music chart for June 1, 2012...
Hey guys, it's time for my top-100 tunes for the week. This week Adele takes over the top spot with the fourth straight song from 21, while Maroon5 and Wiz Khalifa (pictured above) move up in the top-10. Tracks by Rihanna, Matt Zarley, and the Band Perry make the biggest jumps on the chart (moves of 10+ places highlighted in red), while former big hits by Emeli Sande, Lady Antebellum, Lee Brice, Dev, Christina Perri, and Melanie Amaro drop out. Link-o-Rama is still in effect, so you can click on any of the highlighted artists below to go over to their official website for more news, video, tour dates, and music. "An English Spreading Yew?"

There are ten new songs on my list this week (highlighted in green), and here they are, along with a little about the artist, with links to their previous hits on video in orange.
The highest entry this week is by country singer with the funny name Dierks Bentley. Born in Arizona, Bentley has been a constant force on radio, with nine #1 hits to his name, including two from his latest CD, the title track "Home" and "Am I The Only One". The third single is also climbing fast on country radio, and should be in that top-10 next week. It takes it's name from a Van Halen album title, and stand for the police code for nuts - it's "5-1-5-0"
Swedish DJ Sebastian Ingrosso is already on my chart as one-third of the Swedish House Mafia on "Greyhound", and now places another single on the dance charts with fellow countryman Alesso and OneRepublic lead singer/songwriter Ryan Tedder for "Calling (Lose My Mind)"..
Rockers Daughtry are back with the followup to the top-10 adultpop hit "Crawling Back To You" that's reached the top-30 of that list so far. It's "Outta My Head", proving again why he's the best byproduct of American Idol...
R&B singer Tank has hit that genre's top-10 three times, including the #2 "Please Don't Go" that hit #1 on the subdivided 'adult' R&B radio chart. His latest, "Next Breath" is already in the top-5 there as well..
One Tree Hill actress Jana Kramer has cashed in her clout to chase her dream of being a country singer with her first country top-20 hit, "Why Ya Wanna"...
Estonia is one of the former Baltic republics of the Soviet Union, and dance music singer Kerli comes from a small town of Elva in the nation. She had a #1 dance hit in the US last year with "Army of Love", and she co-wrote Demi Lovato's US pop top-10 "Skyscraper". She is back with a second dance top-10 hit, "Zero Gravity"...
Love And Theft went from a trio to a duo, and are ready to release their sophomore CD, hoping to match the top-10 success of 2009's "Runaway" with "Angel Eyes"...
Kosovo-born singer Rita Ora now calls Britain her home, and they have repaid her with a #1 hit backing up DJ Fresh, "Hot Right Now", and now with another lead-artist single featuring English rapper Tinie Tempah ("Written In The Stars") on "R.I.P."..
For someone with two smash singles under his belt like "Dynamite", British dance/R&B singer Taio Cruz hasn't been able to get his second album off the ground in the states, but he is still going strong in Europe, as his third German top-5 single is "There She Goes", featuring Pitbull...
And finally, also from Germany, is the winner of their version of the Idol franchise, Deutschland Sucht den Superstar, with his "winner"'s song, "Don't Think About Me"...
Also two song reappear on my list, Jessie J's "Laserlight" which only dropped out for a week, and Foster The People's "Don't Stop (Color On The Walls)", which is back due to a new dance remix putting it in the top-10 on the dance chart.
Good night everyone!
