French Sweep: June 26, 2012....

Hey folks, it's time to take a look at some of the new music hitting over in France this week. This week's highest debut, like most of the other countries I've featured, is Justin Bieber's "As Long As You Love Me" at #48.

The highest non-Bieber track debuting in the top-100 is rapper Zifou, who lands at #66 with "Cest La Hass"...

After that, at #72, is Parisian rapper Rim'K, who is Algerian in heritage, and has his third charting single with "Call Of Bitume" featuring French/Senegalese/Moroccan rapper Booba...

One rung under that at #73 is another French/Algerian, Sofiane, who appeared on the French singing reality show Star Academy, and had a top-ten single in France in 2006 called "Briser Mes Chaines" from the French-translated High School Musical. His new single is "Dingue De Toi" ("Mad About You")...

Next up is Senegalese comedian Moussier Tombola, who scored a top-5 French hit with the novelty dance single "Logobitombo". The follow-up at #82 is "Pompelup"...

and coming on to the French top-100 for the first time is a classic Gospel disco song from the Joubert Singers and mixed by the legendary Paradise Garage DJ Larry Levan. It's been sampled on the current top-40 hit there by Keedz, and now the original "Stand On The Word" comes in at #84. Preach!

Lebanese-born British singer Mika follows up his #1 French hit "Elle Me Dit" with a song featuring rapper/producer Pharrell that's also been released in the States. It's awesome, so "Celebrate" at #88...

At #89 is German dance duo R.I.O. with a song they've already made top-10 in their homeland, "Party Shaker"...

With his latest dance club hit, Chris Brown comes in at #93 with "Don't Wake Me Up"...

and finally, at #98 is Dutch DJ Hardwell with his latest, "Spaceman" featuring Mitch Crown...

Next up, the biggest from Germany....
