twostepcub's music chart for March 19, 2021...

Friday's here, and it's time to run down my top 100 "hit" tunes from the previous week. Olivia Rodrigo drives into the #1 slot for the first time, while dance producers Meduza and singer Dermot Kennedy (pictured above) sail up four spots in the top ten. Songs from Tenille Arts, Benny Benassi/Jeremih, and Ava Max make the biggest jumps (moves of 10+ places highlighted in red), while former big hits from Gabby Barrett/Charlie Puth and Royal & The Serpent drop out. And right under the list I've Spotify-playlisted the whole set for five and a half hours of listening goodness. I don't feel any stimulation this week. Grrr..

There are seven new songs on my list this week (highlighted in blue), and if you click on any of them, you'll connect to that artist's official website for more info. And here they are on video, after the break...

(Click below to see the rest of the post)

Blues-rock singer Nathaniel Rateliff claims the top debut of the week at #87 with his song from the movie Palmer starring Justin Timberlake, "Redemption"...

Silk City, the moniker used by DJ/producers Mark Ronson and Diplo for their neo-disco project, return at #88 bringing British singer Ellie Goulding along for a "New Love"...

The last time Silk City were on my chart, it was with the song "Electricity" featuring Dua Lipa. Coincidentally, Dua also arrives at #90 with a new song from her revamped version of her Future Nostalgia album, "We're Good"...

Country rocker Eric Church is back at #91 with "Hell Of A View". It precedes his upcoming separate two-album release Heart and Soul (this one's on Soul)...

Kazakh DJ/producer Imanbek (Zeikenov), who just won a Grammy for his remix of "Roses" by SAINt JHN that's still on my chart a year later, teams of with British neo-house group Goodboys at #95 for "Goodbye"...

Jake Owen drops in at #97 with the fourth single from his country album Greetings from ... Jake, "Made For You"...

The final newbie of the week is from German DJ/producer Robin Schulz, who recruits Swedish singer KIDDO for "All We Got" at #99...
