"Get Up And Dance (The Continental)" was a club hit for the 1960s doo-wop group the Earls. Released as a standalone single, it was written by the act's Larry Figiverido (who went on stage as Larry Chance) and Jimmy Fracassi, and produced by Hy Weiss. On Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40 chart, the song spent a week at #37 in 1976.
