"Standing In The Rain" was a club hit for Australian pop singer John Paul Young. Appearing on his album J.P.Y., the song was written and produced by Harry Vanda and George Young of the group the Easybeats. On Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40, the single peaked at #22 in 1978.
