Disco Dessert 3/19/21 - "Je T'Aime" by Saint Tropez...

 

 

"Je T'Aime" was a big club hit for the American female trio Saint Tropez, Appearing on their debut album Je T'Aime, the song was written by French chanson legend Serge Gainsbourg and produced by Laurin Rinder and W. Michael Lewis. On Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40 chart, the Je T'Aime album was listed as a single entry, with the title track, "Violation", and "On A Rien A Perdre" (which I'd covered before) given as key cuts. The record peaked at #5 there in 1977.
