"The Look Of Love" was a big club and radio hit for the British new romantic band ABC. Appearing on their album The Lexicon Of Love, the song was written by the band's Martin Fry, Mark White, Stephen Singleton, Mark Lickley, and David Palmer, and produced by Trevor Horn. On Billboard magazine's Dance/Disco Top-80 chart, the single spent a week at #1, spending a half-year (26 weeks) on the list. It also rose to #18 on the American pop chart.
