"Message In Our Music" was a radio and club hit for the soul group the O'Jays. Appearing on their album Message In The Music (yes, slightly different), the song was written and produced by Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff. On Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40 chart, the single peaked at #38 in 1976. It also went all the way to #1 on the R&B chart, and #49 on the pop Hot 100.
