"It Must Be Love" was a club and radio hit for the female vocal trio from Los Angeles, Alton McClain & Destiny. Appearing on their album It Must Be Love, the song was written by John Footman and Judy Wieder and produced by Motown veteran writer/producer Frank Wilson. On Billboard magazine's Disco Top-80 chart, the single climbed to #25 in 1979, while making it into the pop top-40 at #32 and the R&B top ten at #10. It remains one of my all-time favorite one-off disco singles.
