"You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)" was a club and radio hit for the late R&B singer Sylvester. Appearing on the gender-fluid pioneer's album Step II, the song was written by Sylvester with James Warrick and produced with Harvey Fuqua. Legendary club artist Patrick Cowley did the extended remix on the track for the 12" single, which along with "Dance (Disco Heat)" on the "A-Side" topped Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40 chart for six weeks in 1978. The song also reached the pop top-40 at #36, and the R&B list at #20. In the UK, the single went all the way to #8 on the singles chart.
