"I've Got The Next Dance" was a big club hit for soul/disco/gospel singer Deniece Williams. Appearing on her album When Love Comes Calling, the song was written by Williams with Keg Johnson and Cheyenne Fowler, and produced by soft-rock master David Foster. On Billboard magazine's Disco Top-80 chart, the single spent a week at #1 in 1979, while peaking at #26 on the R&B chart.
