"Rock Your Baby" was a big radio and pre-disco-era club hit for singer George McCrae. Written and produced by Richard Finch and Harry Wayne Casey (of KC & The Sunshine Band fame), the song appeared on George's debut album Rock Your Baby. Released in the early summer of 1974, it was too early to appear on any "disco" chart in Billboard magazine, but went to #1 on both the pop and R&B charts in America as well as in the UK, Germany, and Canada. The single is considered one of the first "true" disco hits in music history.
