"Up On The Roof" was a single from R&B/disco singer Viola Wills. Appearing as the closing track on her album If You Could Read My Mind in 1980, it was a cover of the sweet ballad originally done by the Drifters in 1962, and reached #5 on the American pop chart the following year. Viola's version didn't reach the dance/disco chart in Billboard magazine, but the single did climb to #23 in Belgium...
