"I Wanna Dance" is a track from the soundtrack to the disco-themed movie Thank God It's Friday starring Donna Summer and Jeff Goldblum. Performed by "Marathon", the studio creation of Summer's producer Pete Bellotte, the song never made Billboard's Disco/Dance chart on it's own, but the soundtrack itself spent six weeks at #1.
