"Dazz" was the breakthrough single and biggest hit for Atlanta funk-disco outfit Brick. The mixture of "Disco" and "Jazz", which appeared on the band's debut album Good High, even inspired the name of another funk-disco outfit, the Dazz Band ("Let It Whip"). "Dazz", written by members Regi Harris, Eddie Irons, and Ray Ransom, climbed to #7 on Billboard magazine's Disco/Dance Tracks chart in 1977, while reaching #1 on their R&B chart and #3 on the pop Hot 100 list.
