Disco Dessert 12/15/18 - "Borderline" from Madonna...

(Well, since I started and ended the day yesterday with Michael Jackson, why not do the same today with Madonna?)

"Borderline" was the first top ten pop hit for future pop queen Madonna. As the fourth single from her self-titled debut album, it was the first to have a widely-seen music video on MTV ("Holiday" never sported one, and "Everybody" and "Burning Up" never were originally shown on the channel. So for many people like myself, it was this song that truely introduced us to Madge. On Billboard magazine's Disco/Dance Tracks Chart, "Borderline" surprisingly only reached #4 in 1984...
