Disco Dessert 12/17/18 - "Score" from Carol Lloyd...

"Score" was the title track from the debut album for disco singer and Philly native Carol Lloyd. With production from the guys behind the #1 disco act Ultimate and backup from singers in the USA/European Connection, Lloyd didn't reach the Disco/Dance Tracks chart in Billboard magazine with this one, but she did make it with another from the album, a cover of the Four Tops' "Shake Me Wake Me" went to #89. Nevertheless, "Score" was a much campier and fun addition to the dancefloor.
