Disco Dessert 12/1/18 - "Don't Take Away The Music" from Tavares...
"Don't Take Away The Music" was a single from Tavares, a soul group of Cape Verdean heritage that grew up in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Appearing on their album Sky High, the song climbed to #3 on Billboard magazine's Disco/Dance Tracks chart in 1976.
