Dance Sweep: August 25, 2012...
Hey everyone, we'll close out this week's "chart sweeps" of the new music debuting on Billboard magazine's weekly music charts with a look at the new dance songs in the clubs and on the radio around the world.
On the DJ-polled Hot Dance Club Play chart, Kelly Clarkson's "Dark Side" takes over the #1 spot this week.
The highest debut belongs to British/Kosovan singer Rita Ora, who topped this chart four weeks ago with "How We Do (Party)". She now comes in at #41 a single that's already been #1 on the British pop chart, "R.I.P." featuring rapper Tinie Tempah...

The House Rejects charted a dance hit last year with "Music Is A Savior", and they're back at #42 with "Exposure", featuring STAB...
Scottish singer Emeli Sande was to me by far the highlight of the opening ceremonies of the London Olympics, and her first club hit is at #47, "Daddy" featuring Naughty Boy...
Pink has had one #1 club hit in her career so far, 2001's "Get The Party Started", but she's trying again at #48 with "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)"..
at #49 is DJ deadmau5 so far has racked up two top-10 dance singles, including the #6 "Faxing Berlin" in 2006. His latest, "The Veldt", featuring vocalist Chris James, is already in the top-10 on the dance airplay chart...
Danish singer/songwriter Nabiha debuts at #50 with a song that was a top-5 single in her home country, "Never Played The Bass"..
Over on the radio-monitored Dance Airplay/Mixshow chart, Calvin Harris and Ne-Yo spend a seventh week on top with "Let's Go".
Coming in at #24 is Nicki Minaj, who already came onto the club list, with "Pound The Alarm"...
and at #25 is British singer Cher Lloyd, with "Want U Back"...
On the worldwide club-polled Global Dance Songs chart, Rihanna's "Where Have You Been" spends a fourth week at #1.
The highest debut at #22 is North Carolina DJ Porter Robinson, with his first hit, "Language"...
at #36 is Calvin Harris, with his new single "We'll Be Coming Back" featuring singer/rapper Example, which is already a #2 hit in Britain's pop chart...
Popping in at #37 is Swedish DJ Eric Prydz, with his German-hit sampling "Allein"...
and at #38 is Canadian Nelly Furtado , with her US top-10 dance hit, "Big Hoops (The Bigger The Better)"...
