Today's song of the day comes from R&B singer Montell Jordan, whose sophomore album More had already spun off two top-40 pop hits with "I Like" and "Falling", the latter at the close of 1996. The third release from the record would be the booty-call ballad "What's On Tonight". Written and produced by Jordan and Jodeci member Devante Swing, the song continued his success at radio...

"What's On Tonight" became the third top-40 pop hit from More in April of 1995. The song also climbed to #7 on Billboard magazine's R&B chart, his highest rank at the time since his debut #1 "This Is How We Do It".
