Disco Dessert 9/1/20 - "Paradise Island" from the Wonderland Band...

 

 

"Paradise Island" was a DJ favorite from the studio group the Wonderland Band. Produced by Morrie Brown, who wrote the track with Mark Barkan and Gary Scott, the song appeared on the act's sole album Wonder Woman, which contained tracks inspired by superheroes Wonder Woman and Superman. The record never reached any of the charts in Billboard magazine, but was a DJ and clubgoers underground favorite, along with the fans of those characters and especially the Wonder Woman TV series.
