Disco Dessert 9/28/20 - "Double Cross" from First Choice...

 

 

"Double Cross" was a radio hit and club favorite from the Philadelphia-based soul vocal group First Choice. Appearing on their 1979 album Hold Your Horses,  the song was written and produced by Norman Harris and Ron Tyson. While it was a DJ pick, the single never got to Billboard magazine's Disco Top-80 chart, but it did rise to #60 on their R&B list, and almost made the pop Hot 100, "bubbling under" at #104.
