Disco Dessert 9/11/20 - "Show You The Way To Go" from the Jacksons...

 

 

"Show You The Way To Go" was a radio and club hit for the Jacksons, who had broken free from their Motown tenure in the 1970s, leaving Jermaine behind. Appearing on their album The Jacksons, the song was written and produced by the team of Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff. On Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40, the Jacksons album was listed as a single entry, though "Enjoy Yourself" was listed as the key cut. The record spent a week on the list at #33, but "Show You The Way To Go" went to #28 on the American pop chart and topped the British singles chart in 1976.
