Disco Dessert 9/3/20 - "Why Does It Rain" from Bob-A-Rela...

 "Why Does It Rain" was a club hit for the Canadian group Bob-A-Rela, one of the many studio act's created by producers Pat Deserio and George Lagios. Appearing on their self-titled and only album, the song was written by Nanette Workman and Walter Rossi, and remixed for the clubs by Richie Rivera. On Billboard magazine's Disco Top-80 chart, the song was listed along with the single's "A-Side", "Spend The Night", where it peaked at #24 in 1979.
