Disco Dessert 9/20/20 - "Mighty Love" from the Spinners...

 "Mighty Love" was a hit for the soul vocal group The Spinners. Appearing on their album Mighty Love, the song was produced by Thom Bell and written by Bruce Hawes, Joe Jefferson and Charles Simmons. Released at the close of 1973, the single was too early for Billboard's disco chart which came in the middle of 1974, but the track topped their R&B chart and placed at #20 on the pop Hot 100 in March of 1974.
